A little about Jessica Terry, from Jessica Terry... I was born in Atlanta, GA (a Crawford Long baby) and raised in Douglasville, GA. A natural introvert, I grew up reading, writing, drawing, and doing anything else creative. There were plenty of nights I spent holed up in my room or some other quiet area of the house and just spent hours working on one of my creations. I even made a dress one time with some old fabric and a stapler! LOL I've written everything from novels to poems to my own book series to comic books to plays, but it wasn't until college that I started thinking about sharing my gift with the world. It was then that I wrote my first serious novel and fell in love with writing all over again. Since then, I've written several novels, which are all waiting their turn to be put out. Writing is what I truly love to do, and I feel blessed to have something I'm good at and love so much. There are countless books on the horizon, just waiting to be written, and I'm also working on a screenplay of one of my books. That might take a little while but I will most definitely get it done. What else do I like to do? Well, reading, first and foremost. I can spend whole weekends reading. You know how Carrie Bradshaw is about shoes? IÕm like that about books. I also love sports so watching basketball and football is near the top of the list. Bowling, shooting pool, going to the park to feed the ducks, places like Dave & Busters, etc...I'm pretty chill and laid back. A homebody, really. I love spending time with my family and just sitting and observing other people; it's a great way to get more inspiration. I am currently working on the next project (I'm always working on something), working my 9-5 and, most importantly, being a mother to my gorgeous five-year-old son, Langston (and yes, Langston Hughes had something to do with that name decision).
